What are the courses like, terrain wise? and Also must you have 3 people for a team or can you have just 2?

Gary, the swimming is in the Marilla Park pool, running is on the rail trail from Marilla into Sabraton, and the biking is on the rail trail into Star City and back. 2 person teams are an option but 1 person in the team would have to do 2 of the events and the team price still remains the same. Thanks!

bike course is flat. run out is slightly uphill, especially mile 1 to mile 1.5 to the turnaround, so run in is slightly dowhill coming back. pool swim is pretty flat. Overall it is paved, flat, and fast.

What time do each of the races begin?

    • admin says:

The kids race officially starts at 6:15pm but racers have to arrive early to check-in and go through helmet and bike checks.

The first heat of the adult race goes off at 7am and continues throughout the day.

      Hope this info helps!

Planning for this year, and I hope you have the event. You might want to add iplayoutside to your advertising to reach more people. Love this event. Let us know when!

      Hi Todd,
Thanks for reaching out. Last year Habitat, WVU Healthcare and BOPARC arrived at the mutual decision to discontinue the SSS Triathlon and focus our fundraising efforts elsewhere.

      Thanks so much!
